yubaba is a brazilian free-style lounge project created by frederico drummond and pedro gomide, tracing a path from dub into house with influences drawn from trip hop and jazz. live performances bring together an evolving lineup of musicians alongside analog synthesizers within a digital setup, ranging in format from vocalist and percussionist with laptops to dual computers with midi controllers and synthesizers. both artists have been active in the brazilian chill-out and trance scenes for many years, with appearances at festivals in brazil, the usa, and europe.
