kaio donato, performing as weirdbass, is a dj and producer from juiz de fora, minas gerais, brazil, who got into electronic music at age twelve through relatives. he later relocated to aracaju, sergipe, where he began playing at local underground parties. from 2014 he pursued production more seriously, studying music theory before starting to make psytrance in 2015, with a focus on highly psychedelic synthesizers, trippy leads, and fluctuating atmospheres.
