timmy trumpet is the stage name of timothy jude smith, born in sydney on 9 june 1982. he is an australian musician, dj, songwriter, and producer working across electro house, hardstyle, and psy-trance, and is particularly known for incorporating jazz elements into his work. he has performed at ibiza's pacha and miami's wmc, mixed albums for ministry of sound and pacha, and ranked in the top three djs in australia according to the itm poll. signed to ministry of sound, three of his singles reached number one on the aria club chart, and he holds the number one position in the 2015 inthemix dj awards.
