the silk road is a dj duo consisting of yelda, who is afghan, and biplov, who is nepalese, united by a concept of global musical connection drawn from the historic silk road trade route. yelda's contributions lean toward uplifting tracks with emotionally charged vocals, while biplov focuses on eclectic elements and basslines. together they aim to incorporate instruments and languages from across the world into their sets.
