subtronics is the stage name of jesse kardon, an electronic music producer from philadelphia. the name is a portmanteau of "subwoofer" and "electronics." kardon works primarily in dubstep and other forms of bass music, and gained widespread recognition through his "now that's what i call riddim" mix series.
