stavroz occupies a space between minimal and jazz-house, drawing in sonic elements not commonly found in electronic music. following their debut release on délicieuse records, the group was named vinyl of the month for december 2013 by faze magazine and received playlist support from artists including oliver schories and phonique. subsequent releases and remixes have appeared on kindisch, moodfamily, bedrock, and kling klong, alongside a continuing schedule of live shows and dj sets.
