squaremeat

squaremeat is a suomisaundi duo from helsinki, finland, whose music blends house, trance, funk, disco, and techno with ethnic elements. both members began their careers as djs in the early 1990s before moving into production — pepe in o*men and francoise in texas faggott. the project emerged in 1996 out of midiliitto, a finnish music community, and has since performed in 14 countries. francoise later departed, leaving squaremeat as a solo project for pepe kosminen.
