speedy j

speedy j is an electronic music producer born in rotterdam on 10 august 1969. he released two albums of electronic listening music on warp before moving toward more experimental work in 1997 and 2000, then returned to a minimal techno style with loudboxer in 2002. he collaborated with mike paradinas on the project slag boom van loon and released ambient material for the fax +49-69/450464 label under his given name. in 2008 he founded electric deluxe, a label that has put out records by terence fixmer, gary beck, tommy four seven, and others alongside his own releases.
