jasper byrne has been active in the jungle and drum & bass scene since 1999, recording under aliases including sonic, accidental heroes, and sonic & silver. his work brought him into contact with major labels such as metalheadz, virus records, v recordings, hospital records, reinforced records, and ram records. he launched his own imprint, space recordings, in 2002. beyond electronic music, byrne composed the soundtrack for the indie game lone survivor and contributed music to the video game hotline miami. in recent years he has released a series of jungle-techno and genre-fluid solo albums on western lore, sneaker social club, space, and yuku.
