smeik began playing electronic music at sixteen and gained early experience at clubs in berlin, rostock, and dresden before moving to vinyl. he now works with timecode and vinyl, operating in deep underground techno while retaining roots in melodic house. listeners will occasionally find classic herzschlagmusik tracks woven into his sets alongside more intense techno material.
