slip hypnotic

slip hypnotic is a dark progressive project based in toulouse, france, created in 2018. the producer behind it began formal music study in 1997, learning silver flute and piano before adding guitar, drums, and clarinet — instruments whose sounds carry through into the finished work. after discovering the electronic scene in australia in 2013 he launched two earlier projects, sleepy faun and flo mc adam, before eventually forming slip hypnotic, inspired in part by producers hypnotic peafowl and mojo's ears. the project is characterised by colorful melodies, organic acoustic elements layered alongside minimal and wonky textures.
