shpongle

shpongle is a psychedelic electronic music project formed in 1996 by simon posford and raja ram after they met at butterfly studios in brixton, south london. the two attended glastonbury festival together and subsequently decided to write downtempo material, giving rise to the project. their sound combines elements of world music with western electronic production, with posford handling synth and studio work and raja ram contributing flute arrangements.
