shaki

shaki is a rapper from the san bernardino area who entered the hip hop scene in the late 1980s as mc shaki. his first demo, "you know it", was recorded at groove time records' in-house studio and subsequently appeared on the inland empire rapp syndicate mixtape in 1988. he later signed to eazy-e's ruthless records, adopting the name dirty red, and appeared on releases with eazy-e, menajahtwa, and kokane. in 1997 he took a role in the independent film "underground", playing an aspiring rap artist.
