rinneradio is an electro jazz group from finland, formed in 1988 by saxophonist, reedsman, and composer tapani rinne. the band's sound combines drum'n'bass and techno rhythms with dark dub, ambient soundscapes, and saxophone and clarinet textures. the result is described as hypnotic, drawing on a distinctly nordic sensibility.
