relativ is a dutch duo comprising luiz and tim, who met while working at a supermarket in utrecht around a decade ago and bonded over their shared passion for electronic music. after years of performing at clubs and festivals across the netherlands under the name buurman & buurman, they adopted the moniker relativ in 2017 to mark their artistic evolution toward a more timeless sound. their productions have appeared on various independent labels, and they have performed at major dutch venues and festivals including loveland, verknipt, and straf_werk.
