psyubik developed his ear through underground forest doofs and festivals such as boom in portugal during the 1990s, later drawing influence from the free rave culture in scotland. he has promoted psychedelia in scotland since 2004 as part of planet monkey crew in edinburgh, where he is also an organiser and resident dj at cosmic, the city's longest-running psytrance club night. his sets move through mind-bending psy, dirty beats, and heavy bass lines.
