penta

penta is the project of nikita tselovalnikov, who was born and grew up in leningrad, russia, where he attended music school and played in various rock, punk, and industrial projects. he relocated to california in 1991 and currently lives in san jose. the penta project began in december 2000 as an informal outlet and developed into a recognized act on the san francisco trance scene; his music has appeared repeatedly in goa gil's "divine dozen" selections. most of his releases have come out on his own auraquake label.
