mindsphere

mindsphere is the goa trance project of ali akgün, a musician born in istanbul who has been engaged with music since childhood and first played in metal bands from the age of fifteen. he began producing electronic music in 1999 and made his first live performance in 2002, going on to play regularly at goa and psy trance events. in 2005 he founded psyturk.com, described as turkey's first goa psy trance forum and portal, which played a role in the development of the scene in turkey. his debut mindsphere album was released in 2007, and he additionally runs a space ambient project and a downtempo project.
