mimir is a collaborative project described by christoph heemann as textural and atmospheric music made primarily with analog electronics alongside acoustic instruments including guitar, flute, and violin. the project grew out of a shared interest in textural music between heemann and ka-spel and knight, beginning as tape exchanges before leading to recording sessions together in heemann's studio in aachen.
