mike akida

mike akida was born in athens, greece, with origins from crete, and began djing in 1990 playing rock and alternative music before moving into electronic music in 1992–93 and then psychedelic trance in 1994–95. over time he developed a chill out style influenced by indian and world music, and now performs exclusively chill out dj sets at festivals across europe, africa, and asia. since 1994 he has also worked in the music and advertising industry as an organizer, promoter, and events and production manager.
