mhz

mhz (also known as the megahertz) are a hip-hop crew from columbus, ohio, formed in 1995. the original lineup consisted of mcs copywrite 78 and camu tao alongside their dj, rjd2; tage proto joined in 1997, and jakki da motamouth officially became a member in 2000. the group's first single, "world premier", was released on fondle 'em in 1998 after bobbito heard their demo tape, and further singles including "rocket science" and jakki's "widespread" followed on the same label. in 2001 the crew released the compilation cd table scraps, gathering earlier vinyl material alongside live recordings.
