mauro basso

mauro received his first piano at age seven and was early on influenced by pink floyd and jean-michel jarre. by 1993, at age fifteen, he began djing under the alias krusty, building a reputation across germany in jungle, breakbeats, 2-step, big beats, and breaks through to the end of 2006. he also explored trip hop and turntablism, and performed as a dj for the musical hair. from 2006 onward his focus shifted to techno and house, and in 2011 he released his first production, calm water.
