mathias kaden

mathias kaden is a german dj and producer born in 1981 in what was then karl-marx-stadt (now chemnitz) and raised in gera and ronneburg, thuringia. he began djing in his mid-teens after encountering the first house and techno djs at bioxultra in gera, and from 1998 became a long-standing resident at the muna club in bad klosterlausnitz. his earliest releases appeared as hemmann & kaden, a collaboration with marek hemmann, on the jena label freude am tanzen; solo work followed on labels including vakant, rekids, desolat, watergate records, pets recordings, diynamic, and ovum recordings. his debut solo album, studio 10, came out on vakant in 2009, and subsequent work includes the album energetic as well as releases under his dub-influenced alias mathimidori.
