marco v

marco v is a dutch dj who began playing records at the age of 14 and held a residency at discotheek lunenburg in loosbroek before becoming resident at de danssalon in eindhoven in 1996, which grew into one of the most prominent friday nights in the netherlands. it was through that residency that he met longtime production partner benjamin bates, with whom he began releasing tracks under various aliases. he founded the labels in charge in 2005 and tao recordings in 2010, working across trance, tech trance, electro, house, and techno. he is the father of fellow artist thomas newson.
