karan chavan, performing as manvantra since the mid-2000s, creates dark and forest-oriented psytrance informed by over a decade of djing and production. based in mumbai, he founded pralaya records and serves as label dj for digitalshivapower in japan. beyond his own work, chavan established karacus marakus festival in goa, now recognised as a significant gathering for dark psytrance and experimental music in india.
