magic g is the dj alias of gerrit weise, born on 7 may 1981 in neustadt and based in hanover, who first encountered goa music at the butan club in wuppertal about ten years before beginning to dj progressive and psytrance in 2015. alongside music he has pursued a career as a magician, placing third at the harzer showkristall competition in wernigerode in 2012 and third again at the national talent competition herzklopfen kostenlos two years later. his sets focus on progressive and psychedelic trance.
