lackluster

lackluster is the project of esa, born 26 october 1978 in helsinki. he developed an interest in computer music at age six, with early influences including music created for c64 games and later commodore amiga module composers such as aleksi eeben, niko nyman, and sami järvinen. by 1994 his focus had shifted toward ambient and idm, and he became an active part of the helsinki scene, contributing to netlabels including monotonik and kahvi collective. he has released material through labels across multiple countries, among them defocus in the uk, merck in miami, rikos records in finland, and psychonavigation records in ireland.
