koxbox is a danish goa trance project founded in 1990 by frank kiehn madsen and peter frellesen, with christian johansson serving as a co-producer from the outset before officially joining the lineup. peter frellesen departed in 1998 and johansson left in 2003, after which the project continued as a solo endeavor by frank kiehn madsen. the name is danish slang that translates roughly to 'energy box' in english.
