kora

kora is a new zealand band that crystallised as a five-piece in 2002. the core of the group took shape from an earlier collaboration between laughton kora and dan mcgruer, who had previously played together in the queenstown band soul charge. the full lineup was completed by the addition of brothers stuart, brad, and francis kora, with dan mcgruer serving as the only non-related member.
