kia goa

dj kia developed an early interest in electronic music as a child, collecting albums from artists such as klaus schulze, pink floyd, jean michel jarre, and kitaro. he was a member of an underground fusion persian sufi live band in iran from 1995 to 2001. after traveling to goa in february 2001 and becoming immersed in the psytrance scene there, he began djing in 2002 and became one of the resident djs and party organisers in goa, running venues including hilltop, curlie's, and uv bar through 2013. in 2017 he moved to koh phangan in thailand, where he continued working as a dj and event organiser through a party organisation agency called sacred moon phangan.
