kasra is a london-based dj and the founder of critical, a drum and bass label widely regarded as one of the leading imprints in the modern underground scene. he built the label from small beginnings with the aim of working closely with artists and supporting their creative development. as his dj career expanded, he went on to headline label stages at arcadia at glastonbury, boomtown festival, edc vegas, and let it roll in prague, among others. the label's standing in the genre was noted by goldie of metalheadz, who described kasra as "a gatekeeper to what is under the surface in drum and bass."
