jun jikooha

jun jikooha is a japanese acid house and goa trance producer and dj who was active in a post-punk and new wave band in the early to mid 1990s before co-founding the goa trance project jikooha with shimodi in 1997. over more than twenty years, jikooha has released five full-length albums and performed at parties in japan, israel, spain, australia, and india. in 2010 he began djing and producing solo work alongside jikooha, playing a crossover style spanning acid house, techno, balearic, and trance. his solo ep darkland sun was released on hypnodisk in august 2020, and in 2023 he launched the crossover party cozzmic sonic with his wife tomocomo.
