ivan smagghe

ivan smagghe (born 1971) is a french composer, producer, and dj who came to djing around 1992 largely by chance. he studied at institut d'études politiques de paris before working briefly at the rough trade shop in paris and contributing to nova and magic magazine. in 1997 he co-founded the project black strobe with arnaud rebotini, and has since expanded his work to include compositions for silent films and mixing compilations.
