ibot is the alias of ivo mars, a producer, dj, and vinyl enthusiast who grew up in turin, italy and is now based in london. he founded research from space records in 2021 and works primarily in techno and house with deep, dark techno influences, favouring analog synthesizers, drum machines, and bassline-driven sounds. he has released music on labels including eintakt records in berlin, affekt recording in italy, atum records, coded platform, and lw rec, among others.
