honey dijon was born and raised in chicago, where early exposure to her parents' soul and r&b records shaped her musical sensibility. she developed her taste through record collecting at chicago shops including imports etc and gramaphone, eventually building a reputation for cross-genre sets that draw on house music's chicago roots. she has performed at venues including berghain, space, and smart bar, and continues to work as a producer alongside her dj career.
