headroom

headroom is a swedish electronic music project formed in southern sweden around 1997 by patrik skoog, aon flux, and henrik larsson. the three members each had prior experience in music production and shared early interests in electronica and industrial music from artists including cevin key and front 242, which fed into an early direction of making electro music with ataris and synthesisers. in 1998 headroom signed to the stockholm techno label loop records for their debut twelve-inch release, followed by a single on the evil deception label, based out of the cosmic one record store in malmö. the project's sound evolved over the years toward influences from early detroit pioneers and modern techno.
