green nuns of the revolution
green nuns of the revolution is a uk goa trance project initially formed in 1994 when matt coldrick and sev burden were flatmates. coldrick had been working as a session guitarist and composing soundtracks for natural history films, while burden was a trance dj. their first recording, the whirling dervish, was produced and released before burden left to travel. in his absence, coldrick was introduced to sound engineer dick trevor, who had been active on the techno and trance scene since the castle morton era, and together they began releasing records starting with conflict / cor in 1995, which included atomic armadillo on the compilation boyd in the void.
