g.m.s. is a psy-trance group based on ibiza who tour internationally. riktam (matkin) and bansi (quinteros) met in high school in amsterdam at age 14 and began spinning at clubs in the city while still underage, during a period when the local scene was emerging and gabber dominated early rave culture. two years after meeting, they traveled to goa, india, an experience that shaped their musical direction. former members include sebastian claro, biton from israel, and amrit, who contributed primarily as a dj during the 1990s.
