feelionics is the main project of riley legaspi, an american producer based in los angeles, california. working across forest psy, dark psy, and hitech, he draws on elements from all three genres and describes his output as having grown darker, faster, and more chaotic over time. legaspi is a long-time raver and dj who came to focus primarily on production, and he holds the view that nighttime music should not be constrained by bpm. he cites past trauma, friends, family, and personal experience as sources of inspiration alongside the sonic characteristics of the genres he works within.
