fabio

fabio is a british drum and bass dj and occasional producer, born in september 1964. he held residencies at club nights including speed, tempo, and promised land, and co-hosted long-running radio shows with grooverider on radio 1, kiss fm, and rinse fm, having first appeared on brixton-based pirate station phase one around 1984. he is the founder and owner of the creative source label and is credited with pioneering a style he named "liquid" drum and bass, a term he borrowed from hip hop group the likwit junkies' description of their music as "liquid funk".
