dj gollum began his dj career in 1993 after meeting dj hunter at a club in a small german village, the two eventually buying equipment together and starting to play private parties. his first paid booking came in 1994 at the secret in wedel, and that same year he acquired his first studio gear, leading to his debut single "black arrows" with gary d. on edm records, followed by "plastic enemy" with bulldozer. by 1996 the success of his productions brought him an overseas appearance at nosebleed in scotland, and subsequent bookings in the uk, switzerland, and barcelona.
