dj denzel began spinning records at seventeen, and shortly after completing a dj school run by umek and shark at propaganda club in ljubljana, was selected to perform at a 100-hour non-stop party featuring slovenian djs. he was awarded the best newcomer dj title and a residency in propaganda club's newcomers workshop that same year, later appearing on the local tv show pomp and various radio stations. in 2001 he became resident dj at java club in slovenia, where he continued to develop his technique alongside local and international acts.
