denise rabe

denise rabe grew up near bielefeld in nrw, germany, and came to music through turntablism and hip hop at age 16 before moving to berlin in 2011 and shifting toward house and then darker electronic music. she became part of the tel aviv label and promoter collective legotek in 2012, and went on to play venues including about blank and tresor. her 2016 ep penumbra on arts included a remix by rrose, and the same year she placed the track loaded on mutewax. in 2017 she released her second ep oneirology on arts, featuring a remix by the swedish duo shxcxchcxsh.
