cyber was formed in hamburg, germany in 1989 by matthias bischoff and rene raasch. the duo performed at venues in germany and switzerland in the early 1990s. their track "noise," which appeared on the electro revenge sampler cd, became a minor club hit within the ebm and synth-pop scene.
