martin vodicka's citty project uses live modular synthesis to explore hypnotic techno and dark ambient soundscapes. each performance combines drum machines, samplers, and modular synths with improvisation, resulting in unconventional rhythms and textures that shift between meditative drones and rhythmic intensity. the project began in 2014, building on vodicka's decade-plus involvement in music production.
