christian smith is one of techno's leading djs and producers, known for a bold, groovy signature sound and a prolific output over more than a decade. swedish by birth, he spent much of his childhood in frankfurt, studied in the united states, and later moved to são paulo, brazil, where he keeps a large following and still loves to play. he has released three solo albums, including 'omakase' in 2013, which won worldwide praise for its versatility, and the 11-track 'stranger than paradise' in 2016.
