carbon based

carbon based is a group launched in 1996 that spent several years developing their sound across styles including jungle, house, gabber, and pop. around late 2000 they began working with e-nrg on harder material, which led to a track signed to the british label alien trax and released in september 2001. following that debut, the group built a presence through performances and online coverage in 2002, and secured new record deals. in 2003 they opened finland's largest new year's event, forms of energy, in helsinki at midnight, and continued an active live schedule across southern finland throughout that year.
