calm chor

ashvin mani sharma operates under the alias calm chor and has been active in india's dance music scene for over 20 years. he first came to prominence as part of jalebee cartel before developing a solo techno project under the calm chor name. in 2013 he co-founded soupherb records, which built a reputation as a leading underground dance music label in india. his 2015 eight-track ep "dancefloor sci-fi" was released on soupherb and reached multiple chart positions on beatport; each summer he undertakes an extensive two-month touring schedule across germany.
