astral projection

astral projection is an israeli electronic duo producing goa trance, with the bulk of their releases appearing on their own trust in trance imprint, which later merged with phonokol. the project grew from an earlier group called sfx, formed in israel in 1989 by avi nissim and lior perlmutter, who scored a hit single, monster mania, in 1991. after a period apart — during which nissim briefly partnered with yaniv haviv and guy sabbag for the 1993 single another world — perlmutter returned to israel and the duo solidified as astral projection. tracks such as "kabalah", "people can fly", "mahadeva", and "dancing galaxy" number among their most widely recognized releases, and the group maintains an extensive international touring schedule.
