alternative roots is a dj and producer based in sesimbra, portugal, whose music draws on dark trance, tech trance, and experimental sounds encountered early in his involvement in the local scene. alongside djing he began organizing parties and developing his own production approach, characterized by heavy driving beats, deep basslines, and dark atmospheres.
